March is question & answer month : Tonya Cinnamon asked : –Do you wear a collar/necklace and if so do you wear it out in public?
This girl has worn a collar most of the time since being ‘collared’ by Grimly nearly six years ago. The collar she has is one of these by Eternity Collars :-
Prior to receiving this collar this girl had many play collars that Grimly had made for her that varied based on outfit, but the idea behind this one was that it could be worn all the time in the same way a wedding ring can, and it is just as important in it’s symbolism. Usually the only times it is removed is when Grimly wants her to wear another or when there is an occasion where it is agreed that it is inappropriate.
Mostly though, this girl wears it day to day including for work. Nobody at work has ever commented. In fact only one non kinky person has ever commented at all and the comment was positive. This girl’s dad has commented on it, which made her feel a bit uncomfortable, but that was because he noticed it just after this incident and thought she was trying to be like that couple lol. For the most part people are generally unobservant, and , if someone notices it because they share the interests – thats good thing right?
Over the years this girl has had mixed feelings about the collar. Mostly it has sat well with her and has not bothered her. Othertimes especially when she’s had what with hindsight can probably be classed as touches of depression she’s wanted to rip it off and chuck it in the bin, sometimes it’s felt like too much of a label, when she doesn’t really fit the submissive box all of the time. Perhaps that’s just one of those human things of having periods of self doubt as in ‘is this really me’ kind of thing. Though she has those feelings more about her work life than she does about this one! 😉
For the most part this girl does not notice the collar, its been there so long she doesn’t really notice it apart from when she looks in the mirror. It’s a special feeling though to know that whilst Grimly might play with other people, and so might she, it means that she belongs to him and no one else.
