This girl will be honest. She’s never been that great at walking in ballet heels and uses them primarily for the ‘look of the thing’ rather than to impress anyone by walking in them!
However, recently Grimly was pointed in the direction of Suzanne’s blog – ‘learn how to walk in ballet heels’ please do check it out it is a very worthy resource with pointers and tutorials.
Anyway, Grimly learned two main tips from reading Suzanne’s tips.
1. stress balls in the toes of the boots to give the toes more support.
2. if the heels are too long – as some boots don’t have the right heel to shoe size ratio – cut them. ** Apparently only certain types of heel can be cut well but Suzanne goes into further detail about this **
Her blog gives step-to guides for doing both these things BUT PLEASE GET A RESPONSIBLE ADULT TO HELP YOU WITH ANY SHARP IMPLEMENTS 😉
So, Grimly had a go at it at modifying this girl’s pair at the weekend. Whilst this girl didn’t walk all that far it was more than she had managed previously and a step in the right direction. It is worth taking a look at all the pointers since they do help. This girl however needs much more practise!
Another ability that she needs to master before becoming Mrs Feendish 😉
Please do check out the link though if this is something of interest to you.
