Out of the frying pan into the fire?

This girl feels like she has been walking on eggshells recently at work.

It seems to be that she cannot seem to say the right thing at all. Even the most innocent of questions is getting a snappy response from a particularly colleague.

Perhaps part of it this girl’s fault she can be good at putting her foot in her mouth and totally saying the most inappropriate thing. Sometimes. Not all the time though.

The workplace is in general very stressed at the moment, partly because of the weather and also because obviously its the build up to Christmas. The place is busy, and some people are pulling their weight and others arent, and a lot of people are at each others throats, and this one particular person seems to be taking their angst out on this girl.

The whole thing is getting a bit insane, and she can’t wait to escape and the day the place knocks off for Christmas and Grimly comes and rescues her cannot come soon enough!

But , is that a case of out of the frying pan into the fire?

No. At least not in a direct respect. At work this girl is currently trying to go about doing her job the best she can and trying not to upset anyone by saying the wrong thing. Well lately she’s got to the point where she doesn’t really want to talk at all since whatever she says seems to be wrong.

Grimly has ways of making her talk though! He always reckons he can make her crack with his various inventive methods ๐Ÿ˜‰

But she doesnt feel like she’s walking on eggshells when she has a conversation with him. She can say anything to him and she doesn’t have to worry too much about how he might react to it. Unless of course she tells him of some sort of idea or fantasy she’s had and then he puts into practice, but you know, the outcome of telling him something dangerous like that is much more interesting than pissing someone off at work!

So perhaps telling him she has an idea for an interrogation session when he’s down at Christmas is not completely sensible. ย Perhaps that’s where this girl has got it wrong…talking before the torture even starts? ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. It should be the happy seasion. If you are getting stress at work that is bad news. Just tell them twats to get of your back, and wind there necks in. I hope Grimly can make it down for you!! I wish you both a Happy Christmas and a Great new year!!

  2. Beeing a bdsm-er, acting as a accountant I try to see the ‘work’ as a stageplay in wich i play a ‘role’ but it isnt me. Only when finaly at home i can be ‘me’ again. The work part is only there to bring in money.
And yes, some people there are so narrowminded the urge to comment them is so high but i dont, knowing they will never understand who i really am. I am fortunate, my proffession and age give me the chaange to non-act from a distance. (accountants are dull and without any passion and age is …. well age)

  3. good points Falcon, i do agree with you , it just gets wearisome sometimes having to put up with the inconveniences of the masquerade ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. work is somthing i do on ‘automatic pilot’. So something where my knowledge and workforce are used by, but absolutely no emotion. A completely different ‘state of mind’.
Finaly at home all changes, then there is ‘me’

  5. yep, i dont have a job i can get passionate about either. i used to be a professional submissive and i could get partly passionate about that…but something about mixing business and pleasure doesnt work in the long term ๐Ÿ™‚
